Dr. Angela Adkins, O.D.

Dr. Angela Adkins graduated from the University of Missouri St. Louis College Of Optometry in 2000 with honors. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. Born and raised in West Virginia, Dr. Adkins is now proud to call Texas her home. She began her optometric career in St. Louis, MO where she received Optometrist of the Year and Excellence in Customer Care awards in 2003 and 2004. She has extensive training in diagnosing and treating ocular disease and management of diabetic retinopathy as well as contact lens fitting and pediatric vision care. Dr. Adkins also has a background working as a caregiver for those with physical and mental disabilities and has volunteered with the Special Olympics. She has provided volunteer optometric care in Oaxaca, Mexico as well as charitable eye care for St. Louis Community Services, the Lion’s Club, and Gift of Sight. She enjoys painting, cake decorating, swimming and exploring new places in the Austin area. Her husband, Brian is a native Texan and works in the IT field.

Dr. Denise Tran, O.D.

Dr. Denise Tran was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Hillsboro, Oregon. She graduated Cum Laude from Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then moved to Houston, Texas where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. While attending school, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, Students’ Texas Optometric Association, and American Optometric Student Association. Dr. Tran has a background in fitting various types of contact lenses and in the treatment and management of diseases including glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, macular degeneration, and dry eye syndrome. She has also participated in the co-management of cataract and refractive surgeries. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Tran enjoys watching movies, baking, checking out new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their new baby girl.

Harry Perez

General Manager

A lifelong Texan and Austinite for the last 19 years, Harry has been in the optical industry for 30+ years. In that time he has worked in most facets of the industry ranging from independent optical, franchises, corporate optical and wholesale laboratories. He is well versed in all aspects of frame styling and has extensive knowledge of eyeglass materials and their fabrication. Harry also loves a challenge. So the more unique your prescription, if you have had trouble with the fit of your glasses, or difficulty seeing properly out of your current pair, you are in good hands.

He and his wife Lisa have five grown children between them and a beautiful grandchild. His hobbies include exploring new trails and beaches in his Jeep Wrangler, Aquaponics, playing with his dogs and spending as much time in nature as possible.

Brittany Toll

Assistant Manager / Optician

While born and raised on a farm in Kansas, Brittany moved to Texas, and specifically Austin, as quick as she could. With 12 years of experience in the optics industry, Brittany is well equipped to help you find and fit your perfect pair of eyeglasses.

In her spare time, Brittany enjoys playing oboe in the Austin Symphony Band and Hyde Park Baptist Church Orchestra. She also loves playing and swimming with her eight nieces and nephews. Other hobbies include reading, crochet, cross-stitch, Hardanger embroidery, quilling, chilling with her cool cat, and whatever crazy projects her Austin sister can cook up.

Amanda Howe

Optician

Born and raised in the beautiful capital city of Texas, Amanda has been in the optics industry for half a decade. Her cheerful attitude and relaxed nature makes the sometimes daunting task of selecting glasses fun and enjoyable. She has an eye for fashion, fit and function when it comes to choosing the perfect frames for you. She enjoys traveling and dining. The rest of her spare time is spent taking care of her two amazing boys which she thinks is the best thing in life.

Bookkeeper
